German B2.1: the words, the grammar and the mock exams

Sogda's step B2.1 teaches 513 German words and 20 grammar topics, the first half of CEFR level B2. It ends with 3 mock exams, each with 40 questions plus a writing and a speaking task, generated from the step's own words and grammar.

What B2 means

At B2 you understand the main ideas of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics. You can talk with native speakers with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes it possible without strain for either side, and write clear, detailed texts that weigh the pros and cons of an issue.

These are the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which the Goethe-Zertifikat and telc exams follow. Each step's words and grammar are Sogda's selection for its level.
